VINOD C. SAMPAT

Vinod is a wizard in the field of property related laws. He started his career 30 years back as an individual practicing lawyer and has been a litigation lawyer since then. Currently he is the proprietor of Sampat’s Law Firm. He is also fondly also known as a property “pundit”. He advises corporates and many multi-nationals, media houses, co-operative housing societies, eminent personalities of television and films in matters related to property. His expertise lies in co-operative housing societies, self-redevelopment, RERA, consumer protection act, car parking, transfer of flats, recovery of dues etc. He has authored more than 100 books on Co- operative Societies, Transfer of Flat, Recovery of Dues, Registration and Stamp Duty, Car Parking, RERA etc. He has a team of specialists in the fields of Information Technology Laws, Negotiable Instruments Act, Criminal Law, Matrimonial Laws etc.

  • He was amongst the first persons to oppose the compulsory registration of Flats being introduced by the Co-operative Department vide Circular dated 18/02/1994. He is the President of the Registration

  • He is in recipient of the prestigious Accommodation Times Award for his contribution towards Stamp Duty matters in the year 1994.
  • He has also received the Accommodation Times Award for his contribution to Co- operative Society matters in the year 1995. He is the President of the Co-operative Societies Residents & Users
           Association.
  • He has pointed out several irregularities in the Bombay Stamp Act 1958 and the authorities have also rectified some of the irregularities.

DHARMIN V. SAMPAT

He has a rich background in the matters related to Property, Information Technology, Divorce, and Cruelty against Animals. He completed his graduation in law and has an experience of over 10 years in this field.

Dharmin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Mumbai University and is also renowned for matters of Transfer of Flats (by way of sale/purchase, mortgage, lease, exchange and gift), Will Probate, Society Formations, Transfer of Development Rights including Gamut of Laws, Regulations, Policies with regards to Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, Land Acquisition Laws, Municipal Laws, laws relating to Land Revenue, Agricultural Land, Development Control Regulations etc. He advises Project Developers on raising funds from reputed financial institutions and banks including by way of undertaking projects in joint venture. He is acting as a legal consultant for matters related to Co-operative Societies as well as for Stamp Duty and Re-development. He is the Treasurer of Co-operative Societies Residents Users & Welfare Association (Regd.). He is the Secretary of Registration Fee & Stamp Duty Payers Association. He also specializes in animal advocacy. His love for animals is greater than his love for humans and hence he takes a lot of cases for Cruelty against Animals pro-bono. He has cases from across India and would have handled more than 100 cases of cruelty against animals.

Adv. Mithil Sampat finished his BLS-LLB in the academic year 2014-2015 from Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Law, Nerul. As a student,-

  • He has participated in various academic competitions like moot-courts, debates, essays / research papers, mock trials and judgment writing competitions,
  • He was the Secretary of the Moot Court Association during which not only did he extract record-numbered participation in all of the College's competitions, but also introduced a new competition,

HEENA V. SAMPAT

Heena is a practicing legal consultant and is associated with the firm from the last 20 years. Even though she is a graduate in BSc. Chemistry, her love and passion for law remained. She pursued her LLB from Mumbai University. She has handled matters relating to Amnesty scheme and advises client on property related issues like Transfer of Property, Notice to Builders etc. She has also managed Accounts for various Co-operative Housing Societies. She has authored more than 20 books and has handled more than 200 clients. She is the editor of various periodicals like Society Management Consultant, Housing Society Matters etc. She is enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.
